98度是一个美国成人当代男子合唱团，由4个拥有完美和声的歌手组合：nick和drew lachey兄弟，justin jeffre和jeff timmons.这个组合由timmons在洛杉矶，加利福尼亚创建。

98度1996年成军于天使之城洛杉矶，与大多数男孩组合一样，98度的成立也是那么的不可思议。组合创始人Jeff Timmons原本就读于家乡俄亥俄州的肯特州立大学，立志要成为一名职业橄榄球运动员，去NFL闯闯。不过1995年他和三个好友在一个派对上唱了一首歌曲，引来很多女孩的好感。于是Jeff决定辍学，搬到洛杉矶追寻音乐梦想。
